TWENTY YEARS A-GROWING: AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE HISTORY OF IRISH CHILDHOOD FROM THE MEDIEVAL TO THE MODERN AGE St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, Dublin, 9-10 June 2014

Academic and public interest in children and childhood has increased greatly in recent years, yet there are few established forums in which to study and debate the historical development of childhood in Irish society. This international and interdisciplinary conference on the history of Irish childhood will create a forum for scholars and researchers working on the history of childhood and its aim is to facilitate and foster debate on the historical role of childhood in Ireland.
