In Memoriam: Bianca Ní Ghrógáin

The Irish Research Council wishes to extend sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Bianca Ní Ghrógáin.

As an Irish Research Council Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme awardee, Bianca was a research student at Dublin City University (DCU).  Her research focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education, under the supervision of Dr Miriam Judge. Her research project was entitled ‘Computers, Creativity and the Flipped Classroom: Using Computer Construction Kits in Primary Schools to Promote STEM and Advance 21st Century Learning – an Exploratory Study’.

The Computers in Education Society of Ireland, CESI, where Bianca served on the National Executive, has posted a tributes page to Bianca on their website. Comments on this page will be collated and given to her family.
